What are your opinions on the ipod touch?
Well, I have been nagging my parents since christmas to get me the ipod touch. I have the classic, and its not very good anymore. I held onto the classic for 2 years. So i thought i could get something new. If you have the ipod touch. What are your likes and dislikes for it? Would you recommend it? Or is there another ipod out there you find better to recommend? any additional information helps. I would just like to get out side opinions on the ipod touch. Thank you.

- I like it, especially the WiFi connectivity, I find it extremely useful in and between classes on campus. There are also a lot of great free apps, as well as paid ones. I also find it easier to use than other iPods, as it has increased functionality. However, I haven't compared it to any other models from this generation, so I'm not sure how much better it is than those. I'd definitely get a cover/case for it as it easily gets lots of fingerprints and can be scratched. It is very pretty, and it would be sad if that was ruined.
- its great if u like music and all your media with you, but if your a gamer, i suggest buying a xbox 360, you can get board after a while with the itouch
- iPod Touch is the funnest iPod yet. Its media playing ability is unsurpassable by its previous cousins and it is now actually cheaper. I say go for it! :]
- The ipod touch is great and if you will get one get the second gen, it is way better. What I like about it is how easily you can watch videos and the speaker is great! But the best are you can easily us the internet and play the best games!!! I would totally recommend it and it is like you have a labtop, ipod, and caculator or whatever else you use all in one. I hope this helps, the ipod touch is great!
- I have a link below to give another chance of iPod. There are iPod nano, shuffle and many more. The good news is you can get FREE. Here is the link
- I love my iPod Touch even if it is only Gen 1. It's great having the WI-FI on there to browse the App's Store (find some great games for your iPod) and then browse millions of tracks in the iTunes Store. All up it's great. I hightly recommend buying an iPod Touch!
- It's awesome. You can browse the internet on it, go on youtube, play games, check ur email, IM your friends, listen to music, and so much more. It definately is the coolest iPod yet.
- The Ipod touch is nothing short of genius, a bit of everything, games, music, films, it does everything, if only the memory was 160GB like my old classic it would be perfect ! Want an Itouch totally free ? check out my blog on how to get an Ipod of your choice totally free !
- I have to hand it to Apple -- the iTouch is a great device. In addition to playing music, the Wi-Fi internet looks great, and the 3.5 inch screen delivers crystal-clear videos. I have an extensive music collection, but the 8GB model holds more than enough for me at any given time. I mostly use it while working out, and I was concerned that it would be harder to navigate than a Nano or that I might damage the touch screen; fortunately, I had no such issues. I purchased a 1st Generation iPod Touch a few months ago, and I was hesitant about upgrading to the 2nd. There are no new earth-shattering changes or additions, but it is certainly an improved model. I had three problems with the 1st Gen that drove me crazy; thankfully, two of which have been addressed in the 2nd Gen: 1) An external volume button. Raising or lowering the volume on the 1st Gen required shifting the iTouch upright and then moving the bar across the screen. Doing that while running is almost impossible. 2) An external speaker. The 2nd Generation includes an admittedly quiet, but fully functional speaker. When you're playing a game or watching a Youtube video, it sounds just loud enough. 3) Delay in switching from landscape to portrait mode. This hasn't been addressed, and I haven't seen much discussion about it. It's less of a problem now that there is an external volume button, but it can still get annoying. Laying the device on its side while listening to music brings up the Cover Flow screen almost instantly. But for some reason, moving it back upright to get to the Now Playing screen sometimes takes as long as 10 seconds. It's not a big deal, but it can get a little annoying at times. As far as the new features, the Genius feature works suprisingly well, as others have mentioned. I've tested it a couple of times while listening to a song, and it generated a playlist of similar artists and songs. I haven't tested out the Nike + iPod component, but I'm glad it is included. The iTouch is fairly large, but sleek and light enough to not feel bulky in an arm band. I've also noticed that the battery life has indeed been improved -- I haven't even charged my iTouch in a week. :) The exterior physical changes are subtle but noticeable, as it looks a bit slimmer and easier to handle. All in all, I had to make the switch. I sold my 1st Gen for $200, and spent the extra $30 for the new model. While upgrading may or may not be worth it for everyone, I'd strongly recommend Apple iPod touch 8 GB (2nd Generation) to first-timers. You won't be disappointed.
