Cheap train tickets from Grand Rapids to Chicago?

A friend and I want to take the amtrak train from Grand Rapids Michigan to Chicago. Ive been on amtrak's website and it says 2 round trip tickets cost $120. However I know you can get them much cheaper than that I just dont know how. So if anyone could tell me how to it would be much appreciated.

1. try taking the train from holland michigan, its a short drive and the tickets are only about $60 each
