How can I become a state of Mississippi resident if I live in Iowa?
My fiance currently lives in MS & I turn 18 June 1st. I live in Iowa at the moment & I plan on heading down there REAL soon. I plan on taking the MS GED & it says that I have to be a legal MS resident. So how do I do that? I can't find any info online for it. Sorry! I feel dumb asking this! LOL! I'm new at moving out etc!

- Just move there and get a MS DL.
- You have to live in the state for 6 months to qualify for residency. However, if you show a utility bill or bank account in your name as well as a MS form of ID you may be able to do it.
