How will Republicans spin the coming recession to make it the Democrats fault?

Will Republicans take responsibilty for the recession? Bernanke says addition rate cuts may well be necessary, but he says the economy is ok. Is it part of his job to lie?

1. They will blame it on the Dem leadership in congress.
2. The same way the do it all the time : Blame Clinton.
3. You liberal Dems kill me. Take responsiblity for a recession that hasnt happened yet? You mean like Clinton claiming that his economy was outstanding even though anyone who took a basic Econ101 class knew that Clinton rode Reaganomics well into the 90s? Take responsibility like that?
4. They bought houses they couldn't afford and were able to because the lenders were threatened with discrimination suits. Thats pretty good huh?
5. the credit crunch..personal responsibility issues caused by irresponsible use of credit by every American with consumerist urges..regardless of their party affiliation the blame game is what you wake up and hit the treadmill with on a daily basis
6. Well its neithers fault, it would be caused primarily because of the housing bubble burst. Its just like it wasnt clinton or bush's fault for the 2000-2001 stock crash/ dot com bubble burst and the following recession. But too many idiots on both sides use this overly simplistic logic of "oh the eccnomy is good/ bad now... x is the president... must be because of x" And my TV broke a year ago... was that Bush's fault too... because he happend to be in office then? However, I will tell you, that though it wont be the main reason for recession by any means, dem efforts to raise taxes on hedge funds, carried interest, and corporations right now is not helping the credit crunch at all.
