why do we feel the need to know others opinions if we end up doing what we want...? I mean...friends often come for me for advice or my opinion on a certain situation..and then dont even apply my words od wisdom into consideration when it comes to making a decision..they to the total opposite? dont get me wrong i do it too...i dont know why..for example i can ask which i better item A or item B..i like item A and know thats the one i will get but i still manage to ask..which one do u like which one is better which one should i get..they all say Item B yet i still get item A after hearing everyones advice or opinions...its not just with materialistic things but with real life situations as well...why do we do this..ask even thogh we already know in our hearts we know the answer...i guess if we followed our hearts there would be no need for yahoo answers huh?what do u think?-(i did it again lol)

Hey i want peoples opinions about whether we Xbox 360 gamers deserve something for getting achievements? I really enjoy getting achievements on my Xbox 360 and my gamer tag is Ras HP7. Not a women's health question but we want female opinions!? Ok...here's the situation. My roommate and I have lived together since our freshman year...we're now juniors, attached at the hip, and dread graduation since it equals separation. Anyways, we scored big and got a suite (2 bedrooms, a study room, and bathroom) in the housing lottery, knowing we would probably get another roommate (or two) later on. We ended up getting one other girl...and we are excited, we love people!! This girl is a transfer student, younger than us, and is apparently terrified of starting school here (fyi...our college is pretty cliquey). We want her to feel welcome and not left out of anything...but because we are so close, we're worried it's going to happen unintentionally…we’ve been through a lot together and know each other’s quirks—we also have a silent communication type deal that we unconsciously use around other people (another friend told us we do this); we were also planning on using a bunch of old decorations that we bought/made/collected together over the past two years. We already know that we want to share one bedroom, which means she has the other one to herself….but we don’t want her to feel like she can’t hang out in our bedroom/knock on the door, etc. when we have it shut. Other than the obvious, like inviting her to come out with us, get dinner, etc. what can we do to make her feel like she is a part of the "family" so to speak. Thanks!!

Is this illegal, Me and my friend want tod o it as an experiment? Your opinion please...we want to start trying...? My hubby and I want to start trying for a second child. My first was born on Jan 24th last year. We can ttc in a week, and that will put the due date VERY close to my girl's birthday. Or we can wait til next month and get the birthdays a bit further apart. I want your opinions? Having a small argue with gf and I just want somebodies opinion. We were talking about other couples and she sent me a list with pictures of other couples and wanted my opinion about who is the best looking of the girls in those pictures. I answered one of them but told her I would choose her over any other girls and that my she is the most beautiful one for me. my best friend and I are having a tiff and we need your opinions. we've decided who ever gets most votes will apologized. this should be fun. ok this is very petty but. 3 or 4 times a month my friend calls and asks me if i can buy her a pack of cigarettes till payday. i say sure. i bring them to her. Need opinions...We found a house we fell in love with..."lost" it and now it is back in the picture... It was a little pricier than we wanted, but we figured with today's market, the amount of time it has been on the market, & the fact that the home had been in the family for so long, that we could offer around our price range & it would be accepted. Then other things started to surface, such as the original listing price was much higher than it is now & the sellers, although the home has been in the family for many generations, do have a mortgage because of renovations. Basically, they were not able to budge very much on the cost, though they do really like us because of a personal letter we wrote..we actually walked away. When we walked away, we were DEVESTATED, but we started to let go, realize it was over and we kept looking, never really finding anything we loved quite as much. Now they have come back to us, they did budge a little...but it is still on the pricy end of our budget. We can do it, but it would be tough. If you were in our situation, what would you do? I am not looking for smartass answers...we are truly torn and are just looking for other peoples' opinions and insight as to what they would do if they were in our shoes. Would you struggle financially (knowing you would be able to make ends meet) or would you keep looking for something else? Yes, we have an agent. What do we do to save our country? In my opinion, we have had a collection of the worst leaders in history from Ronald Reagan to Present (Congress & Senate included). They have all had the same policies with minor differences on pet issues. The Republicans blame the Democrats and the Democrats blame the Republicans. From where I am sitting the Corporatist Party seems to be running things. Putting party propaganda and mudslinging aside, how do we take the money out of politics so that corporations, special interest groups, and media outlets aren't running our country. Can we be honest, most of our leaders are brought and paid for. Politics should not be a sport, where we just want our side to win at all costs. Let's all agree to disagree on Liberal and Conservative viewpoints. I only want answers that are respectful and insightful on how to take the money out of politics.

looking for opinions on the car we want to purchase - 2005 ford focus ZX4 ST? we are a family on a budget. we have 2 kids. my husband works full time and im starting school in the fall. right now we drive a 1993 plymouth acclaim we bought for $1500 last year, but its now got 210000 kms (131000 miles) and we have sunk over $3000 in repairs over the last year, so we're looking at upgrading to something more modern, with a monthly car payment and buying the extended warranty for 2 years. We've looked around town and we've mostly decided on a 2005 ford focus zx4 st. we werent even going to consider it until we test drove it and compared it to the other vehicles in our price range. its got 95000 kms on it (59000 miles) and is fully loaded with sunroof, heated leather seats, 5 speed manual, power everything, 6 cd changer, premium upgraded sound system etc etc etc. nothing else in our price range has compared feature wise. the car we're looking at is listed at $7895, canadian funds. are we getting a good deal? from what i can see online, i think we are although its hard to find this sport edition for sale, its mostly the focus SE or SES. we like this one because even though we cant afford huge payments right now with me going to school, its still top of the line for this particular model with all the features. its also, MUCH MUCH nicer to look at inside than our current crapmobile haha. so - opinions please? what do you think of this car? it seems to fit the bill perfectly - spacious enough for 2 car seats in the back and a double stroller in the trunk for the babies, but sporty and fun enough for mom and dad to enjoy driving daily.

Relavism: Are we really letting people believe what they want? A relativist would say that everyone has their own philosophy of life and possibly say, learn to appreciate those around you instead of judging them by your own standards. If we sunk oil wells and used the oil that is in the United States, we would not have to be dependent on expensive foreign oil. But, if we did that, it would seriously hurt our environment.
